At Sunshine Meadows, choice matters. That’s why our dining program focuses on giving residents more options in what they eat, where they dine, and how their meals are served. Sunny’s Cafe - our on-site, restaurant-style cafe open to the public - brings that vision to life.

Sunny’s offers residents the chance to “eat out” without worrying about weather, travel, or logistics. It’s a welcoming place to share a meal with visiting family, celebrate a birthday, or simply enjoy a change of scenery while connecting with others from the community.

Our menu features a wide selection of homemade favorites, from burgers to made-to-order breakfast, along with daily specials, a soup of the day, a salad bar, and a full lineup of desserts crafted from scratch using recipes created especially for Sunny’s. We visit with residents regularly to ensure we’re serving the foods they enjoy most, helping them maintain strong appetites and healthy nutrition.

Beyond Sunny’s, we also maintain a fully stocked nutrition room with snacks, juices, sandwiches, and frozen meals. Combined with our main dining room and the cafe, residents always have abundant choices at any time of day.

We continually work to ensure exceptional food quality and are proud to serve some of the best meals in Kansas. Our commitment extends beyond campus as well - Sunny’s provides a catered lunch every Thursday at noon for the Buhler Senior Center. This weekly meal is highly appreciated by adults 55 and older and has become a favorite gathering point for meaningful conversation and community connection.
